ABOUT NoDataCenterFL

A statewide coalition organizing residents across all 67 Florida counties to protect their communities from hyperscale data center development.

Our Mission

NoDataCenterFL organizes residents across all 67 Florida counties to ask their county commissioners to adopt full local bans on hyperscale and large-scale data centers. We provide the tools, resources, and organizational framework to make this happen county by county.

This is not about opposing technology. It is about responsible land use, infrastructure protection, community resources, and deciding what type of development is appropriate for the people who already live here.

The Escambia Proof of Concept

Escambia County has already demonstrated that Florida counties can take meaningful action. On July 23, 2026, Escambia adopted Resolution 2026-71 identifying infrastructure and community concerns. On August 6, 2026, they enacted Ordinance 2026-30, expressly banning large-scale data centers within the unincorporated county. We are bringing this model to every county in Florida.
