Adopted July 23, 2026. Escambia County adopted a resolution memorializing its position regarding data center facilities and identifying concerns involving extraordinary electrical capacity, significant water resources, expanded wastewater capacity, substantial utility infrastructure, transmission improvements, demands on finite public infrastructure and natural resources, and comparatively few permanent employment opportunities.
